Making a Sales Page for Tour eBook

After you create your ebook you will want to create a sales page. As nice as it would be, ebooks don’t launch themselves. Now I will be honest this is where many people will make a mistake.Here is what you need to make a sales page for your ebook and ensure your audience is jumping all over it.

  1. Understanding your audience.

    The better you know them the more you can cater your sales page to them. What language would they use, what colors and font are appealing. All in all you will want to design and create the page to speak to your audience. Never ever try to write a sales page for everyone because if you do that you actually write to no one. Know your audience inside and out and write to them! You could have the greatest content in the world but without the right design you will never sell always consider this.

  2. Social proof.

    You could list every benefit in the world about your book, in fact that’s what’s expected, but highlight what OTHER people think of it as well. This really validates that those visiting your web page should click the buy button. If you don’t have any testimonials consider giving away a few copies in exchange for testimonials

  3. The benefits and outcomes not just the features.

    Many people will say this eBook will help you: give you the strategies to start your blog when instead their should be listed as this will help to give you the tools you need to start a blog that engages your audience and expands your brand. Notice one is a feature one is an outcome. Give them the outcome.

  4. What problem is your eBook solving?

    Be sure to highlight this. Is your eBook helping people with resources to launch their business or how to practice yoga on a busy schedule. Or maybe it’s helping people create a side hustle to get to their first $1000. When creating the page be sure to be paint the picture of what problem your book will solve and why this is to their benefit

  5. A purchase button (if you’re charging for your book).

    Silly as it sounds some people forget their buy button or make it difficult for people to find . Once you sell your audience on the benefits for them they will need the next steps which will be to purchase. Don’t make it difficult for them to make this step .

  6. About you.

    This is a great place to write a brief blurb about who you are and why you’re the expert on this topic. You’re allowed to brag on yourself but be sure it aligns with what you’re offering :-)

  7. FAQ’s.

    This section is option but I have personally found it to be exceptionally helpful when creating my pages. Sometimes people have questions and it’s great if you can think of the most pressing ones and address them ahead of time to avoid any delay or confusion. Some people don’t put this on their page until they get a few questions but here are some that you may include (is there a refund policy? What makes this book special or unique? etc)

  8.  Pick a website to host your page.

    Here are some of the best websites to create a landing page for your book is: Wordpress, Thrive leads, Shopify, Woocommerce, Kindle direct publishing or Lulu.

Anyone can create a great eBook but what good is it if it doesn’t sell? The process of creating your eBook is invigorating but selling it is all the more exciting! Use these tools to create an inspiring landing page and to ensure your audience is ready to buy!
