Why do you work so hard?

Lately, my schedule has been beyond hectic and the thought of giving up has come and gone. I am grateful that I have not fallen victim to that thought. Years ago when things got tough it would be easy to throw in the towel. I have worked hard to be disciplined to avoid falling victim. As a busy woman, we often wear multiple hats that can cause us to easily burn out. One strategy that I always use when feeling overwhelmed is to remember my WHY. My WHY is the very reason I strive to be a better person, to work to accomplish my goals and to stay focused.Let’s be real life can be tough. It’s easy to be tossed to and from by life’s trials and changes. One of the ways that I stay grounded is to remember my why. I actually have sweet notes and pictures of my girls in my writing space to remember that I want to be an example to them and that I want to provide a wonderful life for them and most importantly that I want to be the best version of myself for them. The picture above was taken at our most recent expo. So many people stopped to chat with us because they were impressed that we were a family of authors. I even got my picture featured in a local magazine and it was titled Keeping it in the Family. When times get tough I like to stop and remember and who and what I am working for. I often try to remember these moments so I can stay inspired to continue to thrive for more. What is your why?
